Setting Compiz Ubuntu Natty 11.04

To update kernel 2.6.39.0 follow the following steps;

1. Add ppa following:

sudo apt-add-ppa repository: kernel-ppa/ppa

sudo apt-get update

2. Then check out the kernel:

apt-cache showpkg Linux-headers

see 2.6.39.0 kernel should exist in the list

3. Then install the kernel:

sudo apt-get install Linux-headers-2.6.39-0 Linux-headers-2.6.39-0-generic Linux-image-2.6.39-0-generic - fix-missing

4. Reboot and check in:

System Monitor -> System tab
